It has been so cold where I live in the past few weeks; in some parts of the world it was even colder. When I pray to my Beloved throughout the day, I include thoughts for all those who do not have a warm home to live in, due to low income, poverty or war. I shake my head in disbelief that this is happening in the 21st century .The needs are huge! Thankfully, the work of humanitarian organizations and the generosity of millions of donors provide relief.
Oh! my Beloved, I want to honor you and draw closer to you. It is easy to be drawn into daily activities, but you are always present, I don’t want to forget that. May my thoughts contribute as well to help those in need in this cold winter.
